KU Leuven installed 52 container units to accomodate international students

Last weekend we read in De Tijd that KU Leuven will provide student accommodation in containers. According to KU Leuven, the rapid growth of the number of international students on the real estate market in Leuven can only be accommodated in the short term by installing container units.

After the corona crisis, Leuven’s popularity as a student city is unprecedented. Many international students choose Leuven as their base of operations and the Erasmus programmes are also a great success. All of this has led to a large increase in the demand for student accommodation. Yet another proof that an investment in (student) real estate is a safe bet.
